We Believe that all scripture is God breathed, inspired by God, Infallible revelation from God to man. (Old and New Testament) (Hebrews 4:12) (1 Corinthians 2:13) (2 Timothy 3:15-17) (1 Thessalonians 2:13) (2 Peter 1:21)
We Believe there is one God, self existent, always has been and always will be, He is the great “I AM” The Redeemer of those who believe and accept Him. He is God in the Old Testament and God in the New testament. He manifested Himself in the flesh as Jesus christ. He is the triune God, Father Son and Holy Spirit, Yet still One God. (Isaiah 43:10-11) (1 Timothy 3:16) (Deuteronomy 6:4) (Mathew 28:19) (John 1:1-10) (Luke 3:22) (2 Corinthians 13:14)
We Believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God co-equal with God, born of the Virgin Mary, sinless, went to the cross for our sins, paying the penalty, wage of our sins with His blood, died and was resurrected, ascended to heaven and is alive today at the right hand of the Father. (Philippians 2:6) (Mathew 1:23) (Luke 1:21,35) (Hebrews 7:26) (1 Peter 2:22) (Ephesians 1:7) (John 3:16) (1 Corinthians 15:23) (2 Corinthians 5:21) (Mathew 28:6) (1 Corinthians 15:4) (Luke 24:39) (Acts 1:9,11) (Philippians 2:9-11) (Hebrews 1:3)
We Believe that man was created good and upright, for God said; “Let Us make man in our image according to our likeness.” However man voluntarily transgressed and fell, thereby incurred not only in physical death, but also spiritual death. Which is separation from God (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:17, 3:6) (Romans 5:12-19)
We believe that man's only hope of redemption is through the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ, who is the son of God. God manifested in the flesh. Salvation is received through repentance towards God, Faith in Jesus Christ, believing in Him and asking Him into your heart. With confession, washing away from your sins. Cleansing you and justifying you, making you right with Him and receiving eternal life. The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Holy Spirit that you received, and the outward evidence is the life of righteousness and true holiness, (John 3:16) (1 John 1:9) (Ephesians 1:9, 2:8. 4:24) (Romans 8:15,10:9-10) (Luke 24:47) (Titus 2:12)
We believe God directed the church to observe two ordinances:
Water baptism by immersion.- It is commanded in the scripture that all who repent and believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, are to be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. A public declaration that they have died with Christ and have been raised with Him in the newness of life should accompany baptism.
Holy communion - The Lord's Supper is a command of Jesus that He instituted the same night He was betrayed, we also are to do this in remembrance of Him for what he did for us on the cross. Paying the wage of sin on our behalf in suffering for us in shedding His blood. The bread is symbolic of his body, which is broken for us. The blood is symbolic of life. It is also a proclamation that He is coming back for His church. And is to be observed until then. (Mathew 28:19) (Mark 16:16) (Acts 10:47-48) (Romans 6:4) (John 6:56-57) (Luke 22:19) (1 Corinthians 11:24-26)
We believe that baptism of the Holy Spirit is an experience available to all believers. It is a promise and was experienced by the early church. This experience, saturation, distinct from the initial experience when one accepts Jesus, and regeneration. (being born again) Baptism of the Holy Spirit Is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance. (baptism of the Holy Spirit can come at this initial acceptance or anytime after) (Luke 24:49) (Acts 1:4-5,8, 2:4, 8:12-17, 10:44-46, 11:14-16, 15:7-9) (1 Corinthians 12:4-10,28)
We believe sanctification is the act of separation from which that is evil. The Scriptures teach that we are to live a life of holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey His command; "Be holy for I am Holy” (Romans 12:1-2) (Thessalonians 5:23) (Hebrews 13:12, 12:14) (1 Peter 1:15-16)
We believe The church is the body of Christ, God lives in the church through His Spirit. Each believer is a vital part of His church. The church exists to fulfill God's plan to reach the lost. Worship God together and carry out His purpose He called and equipped us for. Also to help build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son. (Ephesians 4:11-16) (1 Corinthians 12:28, 14:12)( John 4:22-23) (Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:22) (Hebrews 12:23) (Mathew 28:19-20) (Mark 16:15-16)
We believe divine healing is available today as Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Deliverance from sickness and disease was provided to us by Jesus, by His stripes and atonement on the cross, Healing is available to all believers. (Isaiah 53:4-5) (Mathew 8:1-7) (James 5:14-16) (Hebrews 13:8) (Psalm 30:2, 103;1-3)
We believe that those who have fallen asleep in Christ will be resurrected and caught up together with those who are alive meeting Jesus in the air, and will forever be with Him. This is the blessed hope of the church. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) (Romans 8:23) (Titus 2:13) (1 Corinthians 15:51-52)
We believe the coming of Jesus includes the rapture of the saints before the great tribulation, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with the saints to reign on earth for one thousand years. (Revelation 3:10) (Zecheriah 14:5) (Mathew 24:27-20) (Revelation 1:7, 19:11-14, 20:1-6)
We believe there will be a final judgment in which the wicked, the ones who did not answer God's call, will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the book of life, together with Satan and his fallen angels, the beast and the false prophet will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Mathew 25:46) (Mark 9:43-48) (Revelation 19:20. 20:11-15. 21:8)
We believe there will be new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells (2 Peter 3:13) (Revelation 21:22) (only through Jesus are we made righteous).
We believe in Jesus commissioning us to preach the gospel to all nations, baptizing them, and making disciples, teaching them to observe all things. (Mathew 24:19-20) (Mark 16:15)
PREACH JESUS, PREACH JESUS, PREACH JESUS. IN ALL THINGS YOU DO, PREACH JESUS!
